We built MHCG to make headache and concussion care clearer.
When symptoms keep returning or recovery isn't straightforward, people need more than another generic appointment.
They need someone to listen, assess what's relevant and explain what happens next.
Some presentations need more time and more thought.
MHCG grew from years of seeing people with headache, migraine and concussion who were still looking for answers.
Some had already seen several practitioners. Some had a diagnosis but still didn't understand why they felt the way they did. Others simply weren't sure what they should be doing next.
We wanted to create a service where these presentations could be assessed properly, without rushing to treatment or assuming every patient has the same problem.
That's still the idea behind MHCG today.
Assessment first. Clear explanations. A plan that makes sense.
We listen before we treat
Your symptoms, history, previous care and what you're trying to get back to guide the assessment.
We don't force one explanation
Not every migraine comes from the neck and not every concussion follows the same recovery pathway. We assess what appears relevant in your case.
We tell you what we think
You should leave understanding what we found, what may be contributing and what we recommend doing next.
Sometimes the best plan involves more than one clinician.
Headache and concussion can overlap with medical, neurological, vestibular, psychological, school, work and sporting considerations.
- GPs and medical specialists
- Neurologists and sports physicians
- Schools and universities
- Sporting clubs and coaches
- Other allied health professionals
When communication matters, we're happy to be part of it.
